While influenced vocally by Linda Ronstadt and Ann Wilson of Heart, her songwriting influences are a mixture of punk, rock and heavy metal artists. By the age of 15, Jackie secured her first endorsement with the Daisy Rock Guitar Company, and her band began opening for some of the more established bands in the Santa Cruz area eventually becoming a headliner in its own right.
