Greg Brock: 17, Drums & Vocals
The Jackie Rocks Band is a modern rock band with a dynamic live show and a sound
that combines Metal, Punk & Pop. They have been compared to a wide variety of
bands from Pat Benatar to the Donnas and Poison and to the earlier music of My
Chemical Romance.
The band was formed when Jackie & De'Andre were in middle school in February
2006. Jackie and De'Andre met in preschool and have been friends ever since. They
have pursued every performing opportunity to get their music heard. Not only do
they rock local venues and benefit concerts for various charities. They won the 2009
Seventeen Magazine/Converse Shoes "She's A Star" contest as a next potential
breakout artist. The band was flown to Philadelphia in October and performed live, at
the Rock the Runway" fashion show, opening for MTV's "Making the band" winner,
Donnie Klang. The band played this past summer in front of a large crowd at
Candlestick Park for the San Fransisco 49ers football team's Family Day. They
enjoyed the band so much that they were invited to perform at a pre-game show on
"Youth Day" for the San Francisco 49ers vs Titans game on November 8, 2009. The
band was featured on a Bay Area weekly sports show called San Francisco 49ers
Total Access.
These three High School students are dedicated professional musicians that can
juggle band practices,school, homework, sports teams, marching band, jazz choir
and performing live concerts.
The band has a long range vision becoming a very successful band before they move
on to college. Come out to a show and check out this amazing and inspiring teen rock

and they placed in every event.

De'Andre got the Bronze medal
in the Bass competition.
